We have all enjoyed settling into our new classroom this year. The students already know our routines and are currently working towards our whole class goals centred on working at our desk and being respectful learners.
Our class has PE on Monday and Health on Wednesday. Maths is generally in our middle session and it is exciting to watch the students develop their maths skills to include working with hundreds, tens and ones. Literacy block is in our morning session and all children have been working on improving their handwriting and bookwork presentation. Science has been very interesting with the investigation of life cycles. In HASS, we have enjoyed a guessing game of matching each other to our baby photos.
Friday is a busy day for our students with homework being returned, library and lots of hands-on consolidation work.
